US Open Tip: Robert Karlsson
Two top thirty finishes in his last two US Opens; he arrives at the top of his game after reaching a play-off on the PGA Tour last week.
Every one of the majors is currently held by a first time winner, with no golfer dominating the game over half the field can be given a chance. With such fine margins separating the champions from the also-rans it seems ludicrous that 70/1 is available on a man who made a play-off last week.

One of the best drivers on the European Tour he is in the top ten for distance and accuracy, excellent attributes for Congressional. The US Open suits his game with a top thirty finish last year and T-4 in 2008. If his putter stays hot he can score another major win for the Europeans.
