Price Cutter Championship Tips: Chris Baker
Ranked 10th in scoring average although not reflected in his results. Only missed two cuts and due a really high finish.
Having previously struggled on the Web.com Tour, this is a career year for Chris Baker and although he will be pleased to sit inside the top-60 in the money list his play deserves more.
The 30-year-old is ranked tenth for scoring average but results don’t reflect his play. Sat inside the top-60 for total driving, putting, scrambling and ball-striking there are no obvious weakness to his game and one week it will result in a really high finish.
Baker has finished T23-T28-T49-T34 on his last four starts and should be familiar with the Highland Springs course having played it three times previously albeit it with limited success.
Having missed only two cuts all season we should get a run for our money and he represents a solid bet at 70/1.
