Humana Challenge Tips: Andrew Svoboda
Has made the final group twice this season and although he blew those opportunities at least he’s getting into contention.
Andrew Svoboda has squandered a couple of winning opportunities already in this wraparound season but if keeps getting into contention one might fall his way.
Svoboda finished T18-T8 at the Shriners and McGladrey Classic respectively but he made the final group on Sunday at both events and shouldn’t be written off as a choker quite yet.
Some players take time to adjust to the pressure of Sunday golf and on the positive side at least he’s getting into contention.
Svoboda’s game is built around accuracy; he is not particularly long but ranked inside the top-35 for both driving accuracy and GIRs last season.
The New Yorker finished T38 last year and can build on that performance. At 200/1 (Bet365) he is a cracking each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
