Hamilton Powers To Victory

Hamilton Pleased With Win

A thrilling Chinese Grand Prix proved that the F1 season is not a one horse race.

The Chinese Grand Prix is in the habit of producing fantastic races - this was no exception as Lewis Hamilton revelled in one of the best wins of his career. An aggressive three-stop strategy meant the British driver could exploit his fresher tyres and close down race leader Sebastian Vettel with four laps to go.

Although the gap in the world championship is 21 points, the manner of the victory suggested that Vettel is not going to have everything his own way. The German has been eased to 3/4 in the outright betting with Hamilton a clear 13/5 second favourite. Another poor weekend for Ferrari and a 7th placed finished means Fernando Alonso is out to 12/1 to win the title.
