Belgian GP Tip: Fernando Alonso
Running consistently well at the front of the field. The fast Spa track should suit the Ferrari.
Fernando Alonso doesn’t seem to have much luck in Belgium, crashing out in the last two editions of the grand prix. Ill fortune aside, Spa is a track that should suit him. The Ferrari proved all conquering at Silverstone three races ago, a similar high speed track, with fast sweeping bends.
The Spaniard has now finished on the podium in five of his last six races and clearly has the pace to mix it with the leaders. There is no disputing his talent behind the wheel and the 7/2 with Betfred is attractive enough to make the play. With the added bonus that if he finishes second to Sebastian Vettel we get out money back as a free bet.
