Abu Dhabi GP Preview

Sebastian Vettel is just 1/5 (Bet365) for the drivers’ championship after winning the last four races.

The Abu Dhabi GP can often be a sedate affair, the worst possible scenario for Fernando Alonso who needs something out of the ordinary to get back into the title race. The Spaniard is a best price 5/1 (Bet365) to win in the desert.

Value of pole position
In the last three years, the winner has come from the front row of the grid. The stats would be even more dominant if the pole sitters hadn’t been forced to retire in 2009 and 2011.

Driver to watch
Jenson Button has finished third in each of the last three years but his chances of victory are compromised by his performances in qualifying.

Retirement Rate – Low
There have been a total of nine retirements in the last three Abu Dhabi GPs; 87% of cars finishing the race. Only the European GP has a higher percentage of finishers.
Over 21 classified drivers 21/10 (Bet365)
