Ferrari Back In Business

Sebastian Vettel's shock win in the Malaysian Grand Prix has set the cat amongst the pigeons.

The presumed domination of Mercedes in Formula One again this year was called into question when Sebastian Vettel stormed to victory in the Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday.

The German pushed Lewis Hamilton into second spot and, most significantly, Ferrari matched the pace of Mercedes over the whole weekend.

It seemed to make a mockery of the pre-race Drivers’ Championship odds. Vettel was available at 25/1 with one firm yesterday but the four-time champion’s price has tumbled. He is now a best price 6/1 with BetVictor and that may still turn out to be worth taking.

Interestingly, Kimi Raikkonen also impressed in the other Ferrari. Having qualified 11th, the Finn lost most of a lap with a puncture on lap two before the safety car helped him recover. He still did really well to finish 4th and he could be one to watch at 50/1 (Bet365).
