Brazil v Chile: Bet Fred

Has a better goal per 90 min record than Neymar at international level and his goal against Cameroon could release the shackles.

The 5pm kick-off on Saturday is a mouth-watering clash between Chile and Brazil.

Brazil are 8/13 (Coral) to win the game but I don’t expect things to be easy. Chile are one of the hardest working teams in the tournament and will make sure the Selecao have neither time nor space on the ball.

Neymar has been excellent so far but his exploits will mean he is given special attention and at a bigger price I think Fred can score anytime at 7/4 (BetVictor).

The Fluminense striker has come in for heavy criticism in recent weeks but Luiz Felipe Scolari has been unwavering in his support, and was rewarded with a goal against Cameroon.

It shouldn’t be forgotten that Fred actually has a better goals per 90 min record than Neymar, 0.77 v 0.70 at international level.

We saw in the Confederations Cup it took a while for Fred to get going but he finished the tournament as the top scorer. At 7/4 (BetVictor) he can start his late charge against Chile.

1pt Fred to score anytime 7/4 with BetVictor
