Brazil v Germany Tip: Time For A New Poster Boy ?

With Neymar out injured, Brazil needs to find a new hero to take them to the final of the World Cup in their homeland.

Nobody knows how Brazil will cope without their talisman but everybody is about to find out. It’s just possible that a man accustomed to being the main man for his club will relish the chance to finally be the leading man for his country.

Hulk averaged 4.6 shots per game for Zenit in 2013-14 and that translated to 21 goals. His tendency to have a pop from anywhere has continued in this tournament but so far without the same success. The 27-year-old has had 14 shots, eight of which have tested the goalkeeper which interestingly matches the stats of Thomas Muller.

The German has four goals which is probably more than his strike-rate merits and best odds of 13/5 (BetVictor) in the anytime goalscorer market are nothing to write home about. Hulk is more of a classic striker, due a goal, and may shine in the absence of Neymar. At best odds of 10/3 (Bet365) he looks like the better selection in the same category.
