Summary:
As always, the main challenge over the summer was keeping hold of the much coveted Roberto Martinez. However, the last day of the campaign seems a very long way off and the Spaniard is 2/1 (StanJames) to be elsewhere by then. Star winger Victor Moses is also still there, but one suspects Chelsea will get their man in the end.
Verdict:
Will the real Wigan please step forward. Can we possibly expect the fireworks of seven wins in the final nine league matches to continue? If so, odds of 9/1 (BetVictor) on a top-10 finish will quickly look very alluring.
