Chelsea should win well against a Fulham team they have lost to only once in the last 28 meetings.

A Valentine’s Day match as Fulham eye up the girl next door. Unfortunately they have stumbled across the talented but high maintenance outfit that are Chelsea

After last week’s defeat Ancelotti’s men cannot afford any more slip ups if they are to retain the Premier League. Fortunately history favours Chelsea, having lost only one of the last 28 meetings between the teams.

Most of the attention will be on Fernando Torres but in the short term the more important player is David Luiz, who will be making his first start tonight. Chelsea have been light in central defence all season and it is not by chance that the injury to Alex coincided with Chelsea’s slump in form. Bolstered by the excellent Luiz I cannot seeing Fulham scoring.

If we consider the loss to Liverpool a blip, then Chelsea had been on a good run of form and should win again. The 3/4 on a Chelsea victory in 90 minutes is on the skinny side, the better value is Chelsea to be winning at half time and full time, a feat they have already achieved nine times this season.
