West Brom v QPR Tips: QPR Double Chance

The teams are more evenly matched than the league table suggests.

Last season only ten points separated West Brom and QPR but with six games gone the gap between the two is already 9 points. The form would imply the Baggies are worthy odds-on favourites to win the game but I’m not so convinced.

Essentially, these are two evenly matched teams but QPR have struggled with the inconsistency that comes from a turnover of 26 players this summer. On Monday I expect they would have got something out of their game with West Ham if they hadn’t been reduced to 10 men.

Apart from an opening day thrashing at the hands of Swansea, QPR have been competitive in all their league games and as time passes they should improve further. West Brom to their credit have maximised their results but sixth place in the league is a false position for what is at best a mid-table team.

The league table overplays the difference between the two sides, with the value on QPR avoiding defeat at 10/11 with Paddy Power
