West Brom v Arsenal Tip

Odemwingie: Has enjoyed a good second half to the season.

WBA are unbeaten in four, Arsenal winless in four.

A couple of weeks ago this looked like a reasonable final fixture for Arsenal. West Brom were all set to be mid-table opposition with very little to play for, right up until Roy Hodgson was unexpectedly announced as England manager. Now there is a determination to go out on a high at the Hawthorns.

The Gunners should have had Champions League football and third spot sewn up by now anyway. Had they won any of their last four top flight matches then Sunday would be a much more relaxing proposition. Instead, a shock home defeat to Wigan was followed by draws with Chelsea, Stoke and Norwich.

In contrast, the Baggies are unbeaten and have taken eight points from their last four outings. A recovery from 2-0 down at Bolton last week to level at 2-2 showed that this isn’t a team simply going through the motions at the end of a tiring campaign.

WBA are much improved on their own patch in recent months with just one defeat there in the last six. We can find attractive odds on Roy’s boys taking something yet again on the final day of the season.

WilliamHill offer best odds of 5/4 in the double chance market; this means that either a draw or a home victory will win us our bet.
