Watford v Burnley Preview
Burnley have only 1 point to show from 10 away games, whilst Watford must be buoyed by their performance in midweek.
Watford and Burnley recorded massive wins in midweek but whereas Burnley snuck past a travel shy Leicester, Watford went to the Emirates and deservedly took three points.
Only two points separate the sides in the league but on my expected goal ratings I have Watford 0.63 goals per game better (or less bad) than Burnley.
Burnley’s survival bid is built on maximising their limited performances, especially at home where they have gained 28 of their 29 points. When forced to leave Turf Moor they struggle and I can’t see that changing this weekend. A home win at 23/20 (William Hill) is the play.
