Park Keeps Treble Going

Manchester United are now 13/5 to win the Champions League after a 3-1 aggregate defeat of Chelsea.

After reaching their fourth semi final in five years, Manchester United are 13/5 to win the Champions League. Widely regarded as the only ‘live’ quarter final remaining, United ran out 2-1 winners on the night to see their odds for Europe’s premier competition tumble.

Carlo Ancelotti started the game with record signing Fernando Torres, but he was again ineffectual and replaced at half time by Didier Drogba. Without a goal in 693 minutes of football, Skybet make the Spaniard 4/1 not to score in the Premier League for Chelsea this season.

Despite Ramires’ sending off, the Ivorian gave Chelsea hope with a 77th minute equaliser. However there wasn’t much time for nerves to jangle at Old Trafford as within a minute of the restart Park Ji-Sung scored the winner.

With a lead in the Premier League and two cup semi finals to look forward to, William Hill make United a 6/1 chance to repeat their 1999 treble winning season.
