Turf Moor Dangers For City

City arrive off the back of a tough Champions League away game while Burnley haven't lost by more than a goal at home all season.

A key lesson to learn in footballing betting is that markets, pundits and most fans over-react to whatever happened in the most recent match.

Burnley were thumped 4-0 at West Brom on Monday night but not only is that likely to prove an outlier, but struggles away from home have had little bearing on their results at Turf Moor to date (W4 D1 L2).

Man City had a tough Champions League fixture in Germany during midweek. After their trip to Celtic they lost 2-0 at Spurs and after travelling to Barcelona they could only draw 1-1 at home to Southampton. So will there be a post-CL blip here again?

We don’t even need there to be with this tip. Back Burnley +2 in the handicap market at a best price 6/5 with Betfair and we win even if the Clarets lose by one goal. They haven’t lost by more than one goal at home all season, or at all in 2016.
