The Saturday Acca

We're backing 3 of the top 6 in the Championship to beat sides well below them in the table at long combined odds.

We’re delving into the Championship for three slices of value which combine to give us best odds of just under 17/1* (StanJames) for the accumulator.

Norwich 6/4 to win at Fulham:

The contrast between these two sides who were both relegated from the Premier League in May could not be more stark. The Canaries are perched at the very top of the table while the Cottagers still languish in the relegation zone. Even allowing for the Londoners’ revival under caretaker Kit Symons, the leaders should be too strong having won 4 out of 5 away games already.

Middlesbrough 9/4 to win at Brighton:

Boro are on scintillating form having gone on a seven match unbeaten run since August ended. Aitor Karanka’s boys have already tasted victory at Bolton, Huddersfield and Cardiff and drew at Anfield in the cup. Brighton’s play-off chasing days appear to be behind them as they sit down in 19th spot after no wins in 7 league outings.

Ipswich 6/5 to win at home to Blackburn:

The Tractor Boys are unbeaten in two months and find themselves just two points off top spot. Having been a matter of seconds away from victory at Forest last time out, that status could have been even higher. Town have won their last three at Portman Road, all by a 2-0 scoreline and shouldn’t fear visitors who have lost 3 of their last 4 away fixtures.
