Swansea v Man Utd Preview – Swansea Double Chance
Swansea’s 20% scoring rate must go up eventually and given United’s bad luck at the moment it will probably happen this weekend.
Jose Mourinho has upset many people during his colourful career but for the first time he’s angered the gods of variance. He can hardly be blamed for his side taking 38 shots against Burnley and failing to score.
If his team continue the same level of offensive output, they will start to score (and quickly) but there is a danger his team walk into a variance he’s can’t control – Swansea’s strikers.
So far this season Swansea average 12.3 shots per game (11th best) with 4.5 on them on target (10th best) however they languish 17th in the league for actual goal scored with a paltry 9.At some stage, you must put the ball in the net, you can’t do it on maths alone but Bob Bradley has the tools with Fernando Llorente, Borja Baston, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Leroy Fer at his disposal.
After last weekend’s miss opportunity, it would be ironic if Jose Mourinho ran into a side who converted all their chances. A Swansea win or draw is attractive at 5/4 with Boylesport.
