Spurs Should Settle For A Point

Despite their superb start to the season, it’s still somewhat surprising to see Leicester as 17/10 marginal favourites to retain their 100% record today. Admittedly, on current form, Tottenham still don’t look overly appealing at 9/5.

But surely the most likely outcome is the long price option of the draw at 13/5. In fact, since 0-0 looks so unlikely, the 10/3 on a score draw is the one that really stands out. Both sides concede almost as readily as they score.

However unconvincing Spurs have been so far, they are still top six candidates, something that even the most dyed-in-the-wool Foxes fan wouldn’t suggest of their own team. Furthermore, last season Spurs had the 4th best away record.

Pochettino might be loathe to admit it but after last week’s late debacle at home to Stoke, and with the hosts flying, a draw here would probably do him. Ranieri would have bitten your hand off for seven points after three games as well.
