Sack Race Hots Up

The FA Cup has heaped pressure onto several managers who were already feeling the heat.

Sam Allardyce is now nothing longer than 2/5 (Coral) to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post after West Ham were humbled 5-0 by Forest in the FA Cup 3rd round.

It remains to be seen whether ‘Big Sam’ will even be in the Hammers’ dugout for the Capital Cup semi-final against Manchester City.

Paul Lambert (10/1 BetVictor) was another top flight boss with some tough questions to answer after Aston Villa succumbed meekly at home to League One Sheffield Utd on Saturday.

But the man who will feature on the most back pages is David Moyes after Manchester Utd were eliminated by Swansea. The Red Devils lost at home yet again and the former Everton manager is now odds-against (5/4 BetVictor) to remain in the hot seat at Old Trafford for over two years in total.

Next Premier League manager to leave post: David Moyes 16/1 with Coral
