QPR v Chelsea

Sturridge is finding the net with regularity

He's bagged a goal a game in the Premiership so far this season.

Sunday’s a big day for QPR fans as they head to Loftus Road for the first league clash with their west London rivals since 1996. The hosts are yet to record a home win since their return to the big time; VictorChandler offer 19/2 on the Hoops breaking their duck against mighty Chelsea.

Neil Warnock’s side may just be the toughest team to predict in the division. There have been away wins at Wolves and Everton, but equally maulings at the hands of Bolton and Fulham. I feel more confident taking a punt on the first goalscorer market. Daniel Sturridge has form in this respect; the 22-year-old broke the deadlock in both of his last two matches. He took half an hour to get the ball rolling against Everton, and scored his first of two against Bolton in just the second minute.

Sturridge is no stranger to finding the net at the Reebok having enjoyed a successful loan spell there last season. Including that time, he has scored 12 in his 16 league appearances; it’s four in four for the Blues. At 9/2 with Bet365, the England hopeful looks worth backing again as first goalscorer.
