West Brom V Hull Tip

The Baggies are in freefall and it may get worse before it gets better.

West Brom are nothing longer than evens (WilliamHill) to beat Hull despite four defeats on the bounce and the controversial sacking of Steve Clarke last week. I don’t have any reason to think caretaker Keith Downing will suddenly get more out of the Baggies and therefore see value in backing their poor run to continue.

The Tigers seem to remain underrated by all and sundry and must be worth more than a second look at best odds of 7/2 with Betfred. Steve Bruce’s boys are sitting pretty, 12th in the table and four points ahead of their opponents.

The one concern for the boss would be a distinct lack of firepower. They have only scored one goal in their last three even if that sequence did include tricky trips to Arsenal and Swansea.

In all competitions, five of Hull’s seven victories this season have been by a 1-0 scoreline. Therefore, there seems great value in taking that scoreline again at best odds of 11/1 with BetVictor.
