Two teams who are becoming increasingly difficult to beat and sit side-by-side in the league table.
Just like the Merseyside derby did on Saturday, the West Midlands derby on Monday night looks destined to end as a draw at best odds of 5/2 with Totesport.
The two teams look incredibly evenly matched having both accrued 14 points from their first 11 matches. West Brom have only lost one of their last eight league games with half of those fixtures ending with the spoils being shared. For their part, Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last three away league outings (W1 D2) and haven’t conceded a single goal in that sequence.
The last three clashes between these local rivals have ended as draws and there’s scant reason to bet against that run continuing.
