The Black Cats quickly returned to a state of disarray by meekly surrendering 4-1 at home to Crystal Palace last time out. Their confidence is so fragile that the last thing they need is a trip to the Britannia Stadium where there is nowhere to hide. The Potters showed their intent to finish the season strongly by beating Southampton from behind last weekend.

Crystal Palace (11/10) to win at home to Hull:

The Eagles’ slip-up against WBA looked like nothing more than a blip and that reality check probably makes them more likely to be focused here, and get back to winning ways. Hull have gone six games without a win and have put themselves in a real predicament with sides improving below them. The Tigers have only scored twice on the road in 2015 and have taken just 3 points in the 10 games Jelavic has missed.

QPR (7/5) to win at home to West Ham:

The Hoops have scored as many goals as mid-table sides Stoke and Swansea (38) so it’s not hard to see where the problems lie. But Chris Ramsey is caretaking admirably and the 4 points taken off West Brom and Villa was followed by an undeserved 1-0 loss to Chelsea. Another performance like that and 3 points should follow here against a West Ham side slumping after nine winless away games on the bounce.

Swansea (85/40) to win away to Newcastle:

The Magpies are in freefall after six straight defeats and it’s hard to see where the corner will be turned this season. The problems are at both ends; they’ve scored 3 in their last 8 games and now have the 2nd worst defence in the division. Swansea’s have won 2-1 on their last 2 trips to St James’s Park and are capable of making it a hat-trick.
