Britannia Stalemate Beckons
Half of Stoke's home games have ended as draws and the Reds have never won at the Britannia.
The odds have to be all wrong for this one whether it’s fixture history or form you’re looking at. Liverpool are nothing longer than 4/6 (Betfred) to take three points from the Potteries and the statistics make a nonsense of that.
The Reds have never won at the Britannia Stadium and have actually lost on their last three trips. A draw would therefore represent a step in the right direction and I think that’s what they will get at best odds of 3/1 (Boylesports).
Stoke are unbeaten in their last seven home league games but they have shared the spoils four times in that run. Everton and Man City left with a point apiece and Brendan Rodgers may have to settle for the same.
