Saturday Accumulator

Three games where goals should be at a premium could bring us a reward. But there's a free bet up for grabs regardless.

With StanJames running another one of their accumulator/free bet offers this weekend we might as well take advantage of some fixtures where goals really should be at a premium. Backing there to be under 2.5 goals in the following matches gives us odds of better than 7/2 with the promise of a free bet, win or lose.

We start at Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace entertain Newcastle Utd in a match which suddenly looks harder to call. What we can say is that a goal-glut is hugely unlikely given that the hosts generally struggle to find the net, but now have a vastly improved defence. The last three Eagles’ home matches have ended 0-0, 1-0 and 2-0 while the Geordies haven’t seen over 2.5 goals in either of their last two.

Next up is Stoke against Aston Villa, a battle between two teams who have both failed to score in half of their matches respectively. With Christian Benteke out of sorts, the Villains have been particularly impotent having drawn a blank in seven of their last 10. It hasn’t been much better for the Potters who have been shutout in three of their previous four outings.

Finally, we look to complete a miserly hat-trick at the Hawthorns where West Brom ‘entertain’ Hull City. 12 of the Tigers’ 16 league fixtures in 2013-14 have witnessed under 2.5 goals and there’s scant reason to anticipate that trend ending here. The Baggies haven’t scored in either of their last two and probably need a new permanent manager to get a significant lift.

*Place a treble or accumulator on the U/O 2.5 goals market on any Premier League games and StanJames will give you a free £5 bet, win or lose.
