A surprise home win here would have major ramifications at both ends of the table and it's more likely than the odds suggest.
They may have lost six in a row at Loftus Road, but QPR are still a great value bet at 8/1 to pull of a huge upset today.
Make no mistake, Chelsea’s performance levels are stuttering, and have been for a couple of months. Today they have the added complications of Costa being ruled out while Fabregas and Matic walk a tightrope - both just one booking away from a ban which would see them miss games against United and Arsenal.
The Hoops will be buoyed by the realisation that victory would lift them out of the relegation zone, above both Hull and Sunderland. The mood around the club is positive after a thrilling 4-1 demolition of WBA was followed by a 3-3 draw at Villa over Easter.
Scoring seven goals in two outings breeds confidence and for all their troubles, QPR have a decent recent home record against their aristocratic London rivals (W2 D1 L1).
