Norwich v Crystal Palace Tip

The Londoners have actually had two clean sheets in a row but finding the net at the other end will be a huge challenge for new boss Tony Pulis to overcome.

It promises to be a tense affair at Carrow Road in what is already being billed as an early season relegation six-pointer. Tony Pulis won’t want to lose his first game in charge of Palace while some reports suggest that a defeat for Norwich could spell curtains for Chris Hughton.

The most likely occurrence from what I can tell is, however it pans out, there won’t be many goals. Palace have failed to score in seven of their 12 matches and average 0.58 goals per game while Norwich have fired five blanks and claim 0.83 goals per fixture.

Half of the Canaries’ home league matches in 2013-14 have seen under 1.5 goals with only the strongest opponents tending to create higher scores. The Eagles don’t fit into that category and after their last two clashes ended 0-0 and 1-0 we should know what to expect here.

BetVictor offer 23/10 on there being under 1.5 goals in the game and that looks like a good deal.
