Newcastle v Chelsea Tip

Chelsea are unsurprisingly short odds (4/6 Betfred) to take three points at St James’s Park at Saturday lunchtime, but they look a bargain to win but with both teams scoring at best odds of 13/5 with Ladbrokes.

The case for the Londoners taking the spoils is a fairly easy one to make. They have won their last six across all competitions, finding the net 18 times in the process. The Blues should have too much firepower for the Toon Army who are prone to defensive lapses.

However, Alan Pardew’s men do normally find the net themselves so any clean sheets here would be a surprise. Newcastle had scored twice in five consecutive Premier League matches before the 2-1 defeat to rivals Sunderland last time out. A similar outcome could occur against the title challengers.
