Hope Remains For Sunderland

Hope Remains For Sunderland

United still rank 13th in shots per game and life won’t be easy against a Sunderland team full of fight.

Finally, our persistence with Sunderland paid off as they capitalised on unrest within Anfield to steal a late draw and land our double chance bet.

Emboldened by that (betting) victory we are going for glory with a Sunderland win in the early kick-off.

As noted before Sunderland have improved under Sam Allardyce and although they haven’t won in four games they’ve had a tough run of fixtures. The scorelines in defeats against Tottenham and especially Man City weren’t reflective of performance.

As for Man Utd they too have improved but still rank a lowly 13th in shots per game and have only one victory in their last six away games.

Louis Van Gaal isn’t out of the woods yet and defeat at the Stadium Of Light will pile pressure back on the Dutch manager. A home win at 9/2 (Betfair Sportsbook) is the play.
