Goal Coming For Snodgrass
Keeps getting into good scoring positions and should find the net sooner rather than later.
Once you find a betting edge sometimes it’s worth persisting with it for a while until the market adjusts.
A few weeks back we discovered that Jason Puncheon was developing into an attacking threat for Crystal Palace but we deserted him too quickly. He missed a penalty against Tottenham but followed up with goals in his next two games, obviously freed from the weight of our money.
Having learned the lesson I am sticking with Robert Snodgrass this weekend.
The Norwich midfielder missed a golden opportunity to score against Newcastle on Tuesday night but it shows he is getting into good positions.
The Scottish international has registered 11 shots in his last three games; seven of these have come from inside the box.
I expect he will get even more chances against a Cardiff side that have conceded 18 goals in their last seven games. At 14/1 (Paddy Power) he is a cracking first goalscorer bet with 1/3 odds if he scores one of the first five goals.
