Crystal Palace v Chelsea: Scoreline Tip 1

Palace have been obliterated by injuries and suspensions to key attacking players but the defence remains top notch.

As has been a theme this weekend, Chelsea are yet another favourite who must be opposed at nothing longer than 11/10. How can that price make sense when Palace begin the weekend 5th while their visitors arrive just three points above the relegation zone?

The champions have managed less than a goal a game on the road this season while the Eagles have conceded just six times in their last 10 outings - a divisional best.

The problem for Alan Pardew is that attacking injuries have all come at once during a busy period resulting in consecutive 0-0 draws. The absence of Bolassie, Wickham, Gayle, Sako and the suspended Cabaye will be keenly felt on Sunday.

Our best bet is therefore to split our stake between ‘no goalscorer’ at 17/2 and 1-0 to Palace, who will remain hugely threatening on set pieces, at 10/1.
