Bank on Barkley To Unfeather Canaries

England's great hope scored against Hughton's boys in the reverse fixture and is coming close every week.

There’s no real value in simply backing Everton to win (2/5 Boylesports) at home to Norwich, but the anytime goalscorer market does provide us with opportunities.

Arguably, it’s a shock to see Bet365 going odds-against (21/20) Romelu Lukaku finding the net on Saturday when you consider he has nine in 15 league starts this season and the opposition looks weaker than most.

However, for even better value I would recommend Ross Barkley to add to his tally given that Betfred are out on a limb in pricing him up at 3/1 to score anytime. The England starlet broke the deadlock against QPR in the Cup last week and he will have fond memories of the Canaries whom he struck against on the opening day of 2013-14.

The only surprise is that Barkley has only scored four so far this season but he is threatening strongly every week now. The 20-year-old is full of confidence and swagger; Norwich could easily be his next victims.
