Away Day Double

Berahino could be back in contention for WBA and they are huge price considering the Swans' form. Palace are always worth a look on the road.

WilliamHill are offering attractive best odds of 29/2 on Crystal Palace and West Brom both winning away on Boxing Day.

Crystal Palace (9/4) to win at Bournemouth:

Yes the Cherries are flying after consecutive victories over Chelsea, Man Utd and WBA but strangely this could be the toughest test. The Blues and the Red Devils were in freefall while the Baggies finished the game with nine men. So great wins, but there were underlying problems for all the opponents.

That may not be the case against the Eagles who arrive off the back of seven points from a possible nine and with a formidable away record throughout 2015. Pardew’s men have won 11 of 16 road trips and also boast the best record in the top flight against sides in the bottom half with a 87.5% win rate.

West Brom (19/5) to win at Swansea:

The odds look all wrong in this one when you consider that Swansea are winless in seven league matches (D2 L5) and just as ominously haven’t tasted victory at the Liberty Stadium since August. They have failed to find the net on a league high eight occasions.

Admittedly the Baggies are also on a minor slump of their own but there have been mitigating circumstances eg the sendings off described above. They were also only moments away from a 2-1 success at Anfield and beat Arsenal only a month ago. Tony Pulis will pull out a result soon and with the joint best goals-against away record (7 in 8) we should see it coming.
