Aston Villa Wake Up
With relegation booked the pressure is off and 13/2 is a big price for any team at home to Southampton.
Joleon Lescott didn’t win many fans when he said Aston Villa’s relegation is ‘a weight off our shoulders’ but there might be an element of truth in what he said.
From the outside it’s difficult to imagine the huge amount of pressure the players feel and the match against Southampton on Saturday might have all the hallmarks of a wake.
Villa have shown patches of good play against Bournemouth and Man Utd in recent weeks and finally have the freedom to express themselves.
Southampton are clearly the better team but are prone to poor performances and the 13/2 (Bet365) on a home win in a dead-rubber is far too big.
