Philippe Of Faith

Liverpool have rediscovered their mojo and this Brazilian is at the heart of their revival.

He may not have appeared on the scoresheet as Liverpool ran out 4-1 winners over Swansea on Monday night, but Philippe Coutinho was probably man of the match and looks likely to find the net soon. At a best price of 5/2 (Betfred), he is value to strike anytime at home to Leicester.

The Brazilian international had 6 attempts on goal against the Swans to follow on from 5 against Burnley before that. No other Red had as many shots in either match and the 22-year-old struck successfully in the game before that against Arsenal.

This surge in Coutinho’s danger level has coincided with Rodgers playing him as part of an attacking three; he is staying more central and getting into more advanced areas. This tactical shift is not yet reflected in some bookies’ prices so we should take advantage now.
