Hull v Liverpool Preview

Hull v Liverpool Preview

Hull have won their last three games at home whilst Liverpool look short on confidence and ideas.

The pundits espousing, ‘British Jobs For British Workers’ have strangely gone quiet since Hull started winning again and much of the credit must go to Marco Silva. Hull looked doomed under Mike Phelan but performances and results have improved and now there is a genuine chance they escape the drop.

Hull’s home form could be crucial and they’ve made a good start winning all three games at the KC Stadium under their new manager. Yes, two of them were in the cup but they included the scalp of Man Utd.

The signings of Oumar Niasse and Andrea Ranocchia improve the starting XI and they face a Liverpool team feeling the pressure.

Liverpool have won only two out of their last ten in all competitions and their small squad is being severally tested. Sadio Mane needs to get up to speed again fast but this might come too soon and Hull are excellent value at 17/10 (Paddy Power)  to avoid defeat.
