Out-Gunned At Last

Arsene Wenger can finally get the better of Jose Mourinho if the Blues keep playing as they have lately but with less good fortune.

There can be no doubt that Jose Mourinho would bite your hand off for a 0-0 draw on Sunday as that would all but seal the Premier League title for Chelsea.

Given his remarkable record against Arsene Wenger, and the rest of the top four, that becomes a tempting betting option in itself but I think the Gunners have what it takes to make it nine league wins in a row, eventually.

The league leaders have defended heroically of late but there’s no getting away from the fact that they have rode their luck as well. It’s remarkable that Man Utd and QPR both failed to score agains the Blues given their total domination in terms of shots.

Shot Statistics:

Chelsea 7 (2 on target) v Man Utd 15 (2 on target)
QPR 15 (4 on target) v Chelsea 9 (1 on target)

Chelsea can’t keep getting the rub of the green and no team will keep getting clean sheets under intense pressure. The likes of Giroud, Sanchez, Cazorla and Ramsey will surely provide that and they the pedigree to make it count.

Expect it to take a while to blow the house down and therefore take 5/1 on ‘Half-time: Draw - Full-time: Arsenal - a best price 5/1 prospect.
