Newcastle remain one of the most frustrating teams to bet on as week after week their performance levels vary greatly - you simply don’t know which team will turn up. Victories at Villa and Cardiff had 3-2 defeats to Hull and Everton sandwiched in between to leave Alan Pardew scratching his head.
However, what the results have shown us is that the Magpies, and in particular summer loan signing Loic Remy, know how to find the net. The 26-year-old has fired five times in his last three Premier League outings to make him one of the hottest properties around right now.
Liverpool are going well but having conceded in every one of their last five games across all competitions, they do give opponents a chance. Remy doesn’t need more than a sniff right now and at best odds of 9/4 (Betfred) to score anytime he rates as great value.
