Malaga v Dortmund Tip

Already one of the Bundesliga's finest, and is now reaching his peak at the age of 24.

After Juventus lost last night, Borussia Dortmund head into their quarter-final clash with Malaga as the last unbeaten team in the competition. Their star man is Robert Lewandowski, who at best odds of 9/2 (Paddypower) looks a shrewd bet to open the scoring at La Rosaleda on Wednesday.

From a personal perspective, the Polish international is set to complete his best season to date having already fired 27 goals for his club, including 20 in just 24 appearances in the Bundesliga. He’s also found the net five times in the Champions League already, including three in Dortmund’s last two away fixtures against Ajax and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Lewandowski is on a particularly rich vein of form right now having recently become the first player in his club’s history to score in nine consecutive Bundesliga matches. In total he has 12 goals in his last 11 outings for the German champions. He is the top predator on the pitch and therefore a worthy pick in the first goalscorer market.
