Liverpool v Udinese: Anytime Goalscorer Tip
The talisman of Udinese is a goalscoring phenomenon in Italy with something to prove at Anfield.
There’s an interesting subplot to Udinese’s trip to Anfield on Thursday with club talisman Antonio Di Natale having recently fallen out with his manager Francesco Guidolin, despite denials to the contrary.
The 34-year-old was dropped from the last two Serie A matches for disciplinary reasons but it nows appears that the rift has been resolved with Di Natale heading to Merseyside. It would be no surprise if he celebrated his recall with a goal - an 11/4 shot with WilliamHill in the anytime market.
The Italian international shows no sign of relenting when it comes to finding the net. In the last three seasons his club goal return has been 29-28-29 with 5 in 6 European appearances in 2011-12.
Di Natale bagged a late equaliser in Udinese’s first Europa League group game a fortnight ago and scored the winner on his last league appearance against mighty Milan.
The striker is also well up for the occasion. He said: “I think it might be my last chance to give my best in a game of this level.”
Against a Liverpool side who are less formidable than the name suggests these days, Di Natale is a great price to write his own script.
