Liverpool v Man Utd Tip

The birthday boy has scored four goals in three appearances in 2013-14.

It may be a game against Manchester United, but I still don’t think Daniel Sturridge should be nearly a 2/1 shot to score at anytime on Sunday. On the day of his 24th birthday, the Liverpool striker is 15/8 to send the Kop into raptures.

The facts suggest that Sturridge is a lot closer to a goal per game rather than a goal every three matches as the odds imply. The former Chelsea man has bagged eight in his last seven league appearances and 15 in 19 total appearances for the club since his arrival in January.

A trip to Anfield never resulted in three points when David Moyes managed Everton and this will be a baptism of fire for the new Man Utd boss. Sturridge is poised to be the principal attacking threat having scored both the Reds league goals this season.
