LIverpool v Brighton: Scoreline Tip
After beating Man United in the last round, Liverpool have to deal with the weight of expectation this time.
Having already backed both teams to score, we have an opportunity to find some value in a scoreline bet. My read of this game is that Liverpool will be made to work extremely hard by their in-form Championship visitors, but they will make their quality tell in the end. At best odds of 11/1 with Bet365, a 2-1 home victory looks about right.
The Reds haven’t lost at Anfield this season and they have been all-conquering in the knockout competitions. But a record of eight draws in 12 top flight matches on their own patch tells its own story. Dalglish’s side often labour again unheralded opponents. Expect them to huff and puff their way to a narrow victory on Sunday.
