Leicester v Leeds Tip

There should be nothing between these sides but the odds are stacked in favour of the hosts.

Leicester City, always a favourite with the bookies, are nothing longer than 10/11 (WilliamHill) to beat Leeds in Sunday’s TV game in the Championship and they look very opposable.

Both teams won their opening fixtures having been behind, and I could see unbeaten starts being extended courtesy of a draw at best odds of 14/5 with Bet365.

My main argument is that Leeds look sure to be more resilient under Brian McDermott. The Whites have now won four of their six league fixtures since he arrived in the hot-seat with a last day victory at Watford in May looking particularly standout.

Leicester, in contrast, only won one of their last six games at the King Power Stadium in 2012-13 as they slid away from automatic promotion contention before failing in the play-offs. The Foxes are looking brighter so far this season, so they shouldn’t lose, but sharing the spoils looks likely at a good price.
