The bookmakers are still writing off Wigan despite improved results; with Blackburn and Bolton also deep in the mire.

Bolton and Blackburn are starting to lose touch at the bottom of the Premier League but it is Wigan who are the shortest priced team to be relegated. Despite a merited point against Chelsea, the Latics are 4/7 (Bet365) to drop out of the division.

Blackburn are 4/6 (Ladbrokes) to be relegated closely followed by Bolton at 8/11 (Coral).

With the teams going head to head on Tuesday night, the result could be terminal for one of the managers. Steve Kean is 4/7 (Stan James) to be the next manager to leave their post with Owen Coyle 7/4 (Skybet). Both markets suggest Blackburn are the most vulnerable of the two teams so it is perhaps surprising to see them evens (Coral) favourite to beat Bolton (11/4 with Paddy Power).
