Gervinho Moves To Arsenal
Ivorian striker Gervinho has signed for Arsenal, with Stuart Downing another possible recruit.
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Lille striker Gervinho. The 24-year-old scored 18 goals in all competitions as his team completed the French double of league and cup. A quick, fleet footed centre forward, he is priced up at 40/1 to be the Premier League’s top scorer next season.
Stewart Downing is another player who could be on his way to the Emirates. Liverpool are current 4/7 favourites to sign the Villa winger, having had a bid already turned down. However, rumours circulate that Arsenal could try scupper the deal and they are priced at 3/1 to sign the England international.
