Fulham v West Brom Tip

The Bulgarian scored 3 in 2 as Fulham did the double over Albion last term.

West Brom already have something of a beleaguered look about them and it’s tempting simply to take them to lose at best odds of 6/5 (WilliamHill) at Craven Cottage. However, a goal for Dimitar Berbatov seems just as likely and we can pick that option up at the much longer 15/8 with Betfred in the ‘anytime’ market.

The Bulgarian may have so far drawn a blank in 2013-14 but after three matches this is no real source of concern after his performances last term. The former Spurs and Manchester United star showed he could still cut it in the Premier League by grabbing 15 league goals in just 33 appearances for the Cottagers.

I would always be more confident of the 32-year-old finding the net on his own patch and against more limited opposition. Both those factors are in our favour here. Berbatov scored three in two against the Baggies in 2012-13 and those memories can only instill confidence in him and us.
