Fulham v Stoke Tip

Stoke: Due a win

Contrary to popular belief Stoke have become adept at picking up points away from home these days.

Tony Pulis has turned Stoke City into an established Premier League outfit by pulling out results before the rot ever really sets in. The Potters have lost their last three in the top flight but the boss will go to great lengths to ensure that run comes to an end on Saturday. Still positioned two places higher in the table than opponents Fulham, Stoke look overpriced at 3/1 (Boylesports) to take the spoils in this one.

The Potters have already won at Blackburn, Wolves, Everton and WBA on their travels this season - so this looks like the sort of fixture they win. Fulham may traditionally be fearsome at Craven Cottage but they have only won one more on their own patch than the visitors have away.

Martin Jol’s side were abject in 3-0 defeat at Man City last week while the departure of star striker Bobby Zamora could really be heavily felt for the remainder of the campaign. If goalscoring becomes a problem then the Cottagers should be fearful since they haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last eight outings.
