Fulham v Chelsea Tip

The Cottagers have won three of their last four at home. The Blues are struggling away from the Bridge.

This is the local derby as far as Fulham are concerned and they can take full advantage of Chelsea’s exhausting fixture pile-up on Wednesday night. Martin Jol’s boys are a best price of 17/4 (Bet365) to take three points and deal a serious blow to their rivals.

The Cottagers may not have come out on top in this fixture since 2006 but they have hardly been outclassed in recent times. Indeed, the last four top flight clashes have all ended in draws.

But I think Fulham are playing well enough to take the spoils this time. They have only lost one of their last seven league games and won three of their last four down by the Thames.  And, in Dimitar Berbatov they have a proven match-winner.

In contrast, the European champions have lost their last three Premier League away outings, not to mention their last two Europa League trips. They aren’t travelling well at all and can’t justify best odds of 3/4 (PaddyPower).
