Football Accumulator

Norwich and Peterborough face sides in turmoil whilst Bradford keep the feel good factor going.

We are traversing the leagues for this weekend’s 19/1 (William Hill) accumulator.

First up are Bradford who are evens (William Hill) to win at home to Oxford. The question on everyone’s lips is how will they react to their mid-week victory over Aston Villa? The bookmakers seem to be expecting a comedown, but equally their confidence could be buoyed by such a good result.

Either way it is a futile exercise trying to second guess their state of mind. What we know is that after 26 games, Bradford have five more points than Oxford and enjoy home advatange. If their cup run has taught us anything, it’s that Bradford are a good team, especially by League Two standards.

Next up we are backing Norwich to beat an unravelling Newcastle side at 5/4 (William Hill). With Demba Ba gone and Yohan Cabaye and Hatem Ben Arfa injured, the last thing they need is Fabricio Coloccini looking for a return to Argentina. With potentially their best four players from last season missing from the starting line-up they are vulnerable against a Norwich team with five points more than them.

In the final leg of our treble, we are backing Peterborough (7/2 William Hill) to inflict further misery on Nottingham Forest. The appointment of Alex McLeish was never going to please the home supporters and a shock defeat at home to Oldham in the FA Cup has only compounded the problem. The City Ground isn’t a happy place at the moment and Forest face a resurgent Peterborough side with four wins in their last five games.

The best price treble on Bradford, Norwich and Peterborough all winning is an attractive 19/1 with William Hill.
